Terms & Conditions
Responsible Party
The person completing and signing the Booking Form and the Travel Agreement is the responsible party for all persons named on the form. Each traveling adult may complete his/her own form, even if sharing accommodations. Upon cancellation, the remaining party(ies) in the room are responsible for the cost of the booking. Hotels and resorts have the right to reprice the accommodations at the current rate. All cancellation policies will apply.

Inquiries/Booking
All booking requests must be made using the Booking Request Form. Stories to Tell Travel charges a service or planning fee to create custom itineraries. Each itinerary comes with at least two (2) options. The planning is a separate, non-refundable charge and not part of the travel package price. The non-refundable service fee may be included in the package price and paid along with the deposit. Prior to booking, we will make up to two (2) complimentary changes to the booking.
After booking, we will make one (1) complimentary change to the itinerary. Note that suppliers (i.e. airlines, hotels, tour companies, etc.) may charge a fee for any changes/cancellations made. Any additional changes will incur a $25.00 change fee/per request along with any charges from the travel suppliers. No changes will be accepted within 60 days of the travel date or sooner if noted on the Travel Agreement.
Prices are subject to change until booked and fully deposited.

Deposits/Payments
The deposit and all booking forms must be submitted to confirm a reservation. Once a Payment Installment Plan is established, all payments must be received by each due date or the reservations will be cancelled, unless other payment arrangements have been made and accepted by an approved Stories to Tell Travel representative and all payments made will be forfeited. Traveler may be responsible for additional payments to third parties for services requested as add-ons. In the event of cancellation, the Traveler agrees to Stories to Tell Travel's terms and conditions and the guidelines of any third-party vendors.

The Traveler is responsible for providing all accurate payment information (i.e. credit card numbers, ccv, expiration dates, routing numbers, account numbers, etc.). Declined payments will be resubmitted by request only. If a payment is declined, the Traveler will be required to provide an alternate form of payment. If the second payment method is declined, the reservations will be cancelled, and all previous payments forfeited. There is a $30 fee for all declined payments.
All payments (travel insurance, deposits, service fees, etc.) are non-refundable and non-transferable after the refund dates stated in the Terms and Conditions. It is recommended that all travelers obtain travel insurance as protection against any unforeseen events that may affect or prevent travel.

Last-minute bookings (travel within 60 days) require the full payments prior to booking and are not refundable.
Name Changes
One (1) name change, or reservation move, per reservation, may be requested before the final payment. Some third-party vendors (i.e., hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies, etc.) may charge a fee in order to change the name on the reservation. This fee is the responsibility of the Traveler. Airline tickets are non-transferable and cannot be changed if purchased. Stories to Tell Travel cannot control if a third-party vendor will accept any changes to the reservations.
Cancellations
STORIES TO TELL TRAVEL CHARGES A $100 PER PERSON CANCELLATION FEE FOR ALL BOOKINGS CANCELLED 7 OR MORE DAYS AFTER THE INITIAL DEPOSIT OR PAYMENT IS MADE. REQUESTS FOR CANCELLATION MUST BE MADE IN WRITING. Additional cancellation fees or refunds for Traveler cancellation are at the discretion of the third-party vendor (i.e., hotels, tour operators, rental car agencies, airlines, etc.). Insurance and flights are almost always non-refundable. Cancellations may incur penalties up to 100% of the amount paid.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended in order to protect Traveler's trip and yourself from any unforeseen expenses. Travel insurance can cover a variety of unexpected events from lost luggage to medical emergencies. All bookings include the cost of travel insurance. However, travelers have the option to opt out of the offered insurance. Travelers also have the option to purchase travel insurance independently. Stories to Tell Travel takes no responsibility for additional expenses incurred due to events out of our control, including but not limited to delayed flights, lost luggage, accidents, civil unrest, pandemics, and acts of God.

Travel Documents
Stories to Tell Travel will assist all travelers in obtaining the documents needed for travel. However, it is ultimately the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they have and meet all requirements for entry into and exit out of a country. Stories to Tell Travel is not liable if a traveler is refused entry into a country or on transportation for not having proper and valid documentation or for not meeting the criteria for entry into that country.

Passport numbers, dates and all other information from the passport are to be submitted not later than the final payment due date. It is the Traveler’s responsibility to ensure that passports are valid at least six (6) months past the return date.

If a traveler does not have a valid passport or a passport that will expire within the required six (6) months passed the return date, a renewed passport must be received at least 60 days prior to the departure date. Any traveler without a valid passport will be removed from the booking and responsible for any additional costs incurred due to their cancellation.
